The Aberdare Country Club nestles on the slopes of Mwegia Hill in a 1,300 acre wildlife sanctuary. It enjoys splendid views of the plains below, with the Aberdare range of mountains to the west and Mount Kenya to the east.
The club is a haven of unhurried charm set in gardens bursting with a profusion of colour, with peacocks stalking the lush lawns.
A popular venue for conferences, a choice of three rooms is available. The Club also offers some secretarial facilities. Offering first class cuisine with a selection of European, Asian and Kenyan dishes, the dining room is situated in the main building. The club has 48 en-suite rooms, 28 twins and 20 double-bedded rooms, 38 of which are cottages all with spectacular views of the plains below. A total of 107 guests can be catered for. All rooms have private bathrooms with shower and telephone.
