Lake Naivasha Resort, formerly an English colonial farm house, is now a small but a luxurious hotel on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Owned and managed by the same company as Lake Nakuru and Lake Elementaita Lodges, it enjoys the same exclusive level of service and cuisine as its larger and more famous sisters.

The 12 twin and Double rooms are set back amogest the trees ,while the whitewashed central building withits bay windows,terrance and living room featuring an original open fireplace give guest a taste of traditional colonial atmosphere in front of the hotel, a mature English garden with giant cactus ,lofty tree and flowering roses, stretches down to the shoes of the lake.

The Lodge's resident naturalist is available to help guest better appreciate the myraid of birds and wildlife in the region. A private laning stages enables one to take boat trips to view the hippo and many birds for which the lake is famous.          

A raised Platform permits safe viewing of the Hippo when they come out of the water at night .Driving or bicycle safari can be takento nearby hell's Gate National Park where The dramatic rock outcrops Provide spectacular sceneryin which the photographic animals such as girrafe ,Zebra ,waterbuck, gazelle and occasional big cats.

Guest can go riding on horses from the lodge's own stable or visit Elsamere Conservation Centre, formerly the House of Joy Adamson of "Born Free" farm.Alternatively,visit to the maasai Cultural Centre to enjoy tribal dancing ,or to local farmto see winemaking or tropical flower growing,can Be arranged. Specialist visits and courses can also be Made at the neighbouring Herb garden Where Herbal cosmetics are Produced.
