8 Days (7 Nights) "Samburu Trail"

Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Kenya

Morning drive to Mount Kenya National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge. The resident wildlife in this park graze/feed around the lodges. They include; cape Buffaloes, Forest Hog and different birds. View the snow – capped peaks of Mount Kenya (5,200M above the sea level). Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge

Samburu

Day 2: Mt. Kenya – Samburu

Early morning breakfast then, depart to Samburu Game Reserve via Isiolo. Game viewing before checking in at the lodge. After lunch, relax until 16:00hrs,time for the evening game drive. Spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge (Full board)

Day 3: Samburu - Shaba

Morning game drive before breakfast.Drive to Shaba National Reserve arriving for lunch.Afternoon game drives with chance to spot; Leopards, lions, grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffes among other species of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge

Day 4: Shaba – Lake Nakuru

Early morning breakfast, then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingoes and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe and Waterbucks. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Safari Lodge. (Full Board)

Day 5:Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha

Early morning game drive before breakfast and then drive to Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch.Afternoon boat trip with chance to see; Hippos and other kinds of wildlife who depend on the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Resort (Full Board)

Day 6:Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara.

After breakfast, proceed to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, game drive en route to the Camp or lodge. After lunch, relax before going for more game viewing in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at Siana Spring Camp or Olare Safari Camp(Full Board)

Day 7: Maasai Mara.

Spend the day in the Mara; see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard. Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas and Maasai Giraffes. Dinner and overnight at the  Siana Springs Camp or Olare Safari Camp (Full Board)

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi.

Early morning breakfast then proceed on a  to Nairobi, with lunch on the way, arriving late afternoon.  (Breakfast & Lunch).
