Tarangire Safari lodge is located in Tarangire National Park, and provides one of the best views of wildlife as it is just next to Tarangire river, which attracts impressive numbers and variety of game.
Astride the path of the Elephant migration, Tarangire Treetops sits alone in a private conservation area bordering Tarangire National Park which covers an area of 260 sq kms and the Masai Steppe amid rolling baobab studded hills with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley wall.
Maramboi Tented Camp is another lower priced option in the Tarangire area. Unlike Tarangire Safari Lodge it is not located in the park and will take some time to drive to a good game viewing area. We include it here because it is much smaller and has better lodging and food than Tarangire Safari Lodge.
Tarangire Sopa is located amongst the baobab trees in Tarangire National Park, Tarangire Sopa Lodge comprises of 75 suites, each with spacious bathrooms, private lounges with mini-bar and balconies overlooking one of Tanzania's finest National Parks.
Tarangire River Camp overlooks the Tarangire River and offers stunning views of the meandering river, the vast plains across the park, Lake Manyara, the Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands.
Kikoti Tented Camp's proximity to Tarangire National Park offers a wide choice of exploratory game drives through the classic African savannah and acacia parkland of this unproclaimed wilderness.
Tarangire Porini tented lodge is located in the Northern Tanzania tourist circuit which includes Tarangire National Park, the lake Manyara Park, Serengeti Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Swala Camp is nestled in a beautiful, acacia forest enclave at the edge of the gently rolling savanna in the southwest corner of the Tarangire National Park.
Oliver’s Camp is located in a remote area of the park, in the middle of Tarangire's unspoilt wilderness zone. The camp is ideally placed to access the yearly migrations of wildlife throughout the ecosystem, and to view the impressive concentrations at waterholes for a 6-7 month season each year.
