Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi City or Nairobi Airport – Meru National Park.
Early morning pick up from Nairobi Hotel/Airport then drive to Meru National Park, Arriving time for lunch as well as check-in at the Lodge. This park was made famous by the book “Born Free” by author Joy Adamson’s who release orphaned lioness Elsa in the Park. The beautiful Rojewero River bisects the Park, along its banks different bird species, Lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, Gravy’s and Burchell’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and gerenuk, buffalo, hippo and crocodile are spotted; Meru National park is in the moment is another safe haven for rhinos. Dinner and overnight at iKWETA Safari Camp or Murera Springs Eco Lodge, (Lunch & Dinner).
Day 2: Meru National Park.
Spend a whole day in Meru National park with early morning and afternoon game drives; which gives you chances to view different kinds of wildlife and visit to Adamson’s falls as well. Dinner and Overnight at iKWETA Safari Camp or Murera Springs Eco Lodge, (Full board).
Day 3: Meru National Park – Samburu Game Reserve.
Depart for Samburu Game Reserve after breakfast via Isiolo. On arrival have game en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check in. After lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time for the evening game drive. Spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Soroi Larsens Camp or Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, (Full board).
Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve.
Spend a whole day in Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives; spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Soroi Larsens Camp or Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, (Full board).
Day 5: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park.
Early morning breakfast, then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park Via Isiolo. Stop for lunch at Thomson’s Waterfall, arriving around 14.00 hours in Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingoes and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe and Waterbucks. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Camp, (Full Board).
Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha.
Early morning game drive before breakfast and then drive to Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch. Afternoon boat trip (at extra Cost) with chance to see; Hippos and other kinds of wildlife who depend on the lake Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort or Lake Naivasha Sawela lodge, (Full Board).
Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch. Relax until 16:00 Hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas and Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge or Fig Tree Camp, (Full Board).
Day 8: Maasai Mara Mara Game Reserve.
Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve- Isbania Bolder Point - Serengeti National Park.
Early Morning breakfast and then start long game drives across the Mara on the way to Serengeti National park; having your lunch( Lunch Box) on the way. Start game drives on the way to the lodge; arriving at the Lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, (Full board).
Day 10: Serengeti National Park,Bologonja springs.
Early morning Breakfast and then start long game drive cross Serengeti to North/Eastern Serengeti via Hippo Pool and across Mto Rangi (Rangi River), arriving at Lobo Wildlife Lodge for lunch as well as check in. Afternoon game drives as well as visit to Bologonja springs. Dinner and overnight at Lobo Wildlife Lodge, (Full board).
Day 11: Serengeti National Park.
Spend a whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge, (Full board).
Day 12: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving for early lunch (Lunch Boxes). Descend to the floor of the crater (12.30 Hrs) for game viewing in this unique park. Spot: Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Leopard, Cheetahs, Buffaloes and Hippos. Dinner and overnight atCheetahs, Buffaloes and Hippos. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Serena Lodge, (Full board).
Day 13: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving time for Lunch as well as check- in at the Lodge. The afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park gives you a chance to see Tree climbing Lions and other kinds of African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, (Full board).
Day 14: Lake Manyara National Park- Tarangire National Park.
Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park arriving time for Lunch as well as check in at the Lodge. The afternoon game drive gives you a chance to see different kinds of wildlife including Jumbo Elephants. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Baobab Tented Camp , (Full board).
Day 15: Tarangire National Park – Arusha or Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport.
Early morning game drives before breakfast then drive to Arusha for lunch; later drop off at Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport or your respective Hotel in Arusha, (Breakfast & Lunch).

The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. During the dry season thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.
